Do you want to make your own picture quotes for social media, instead of sharing those made by others? Add your own unique message, saying, or a favorite quote, and stand out from the crowd. It’s a great way of encouraging others to like, comment and share your posts.
A post with images stands out much more than plain text and get noticed. You can share them on your profile, on pages or in groups.
My newest collection of free backgrounds feature floral borders, and flower pictures, created in Photoshop. The images are square and of an ideal size for Facebook, Pinterest and Instagram.
Floral Images for Picture Quotes, Text and Greetings
Here are thumbnail images of the Floral Collection. I’ve put the full size, better quality, images into a zip file so you can download them all at once.
Ideas for Using Text on Images:

How To Add Text to Images
There are various online picture editing tools but for speed and ease of use I recommend Canva for Web or iPhone/iPad. These free images are 800px X 800px, the same as the Canva create a “Social Media” image option.
If you’re new to it here’s a good tutorial on the Welcome to Canva page. The first time you log in you’ll find an interactive tutorial that guides you through the features.
Another good free app for adding text, available on iTunes and Google Play for Androids, is Phonto.
Both applications let you post images directly to Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. With Phonto you can share to Instagram too.
I hope you find use for these images. I’m on a roll now and have already started my next collection, as well as creating Twitter sized images to match. I’ll adapt some of these from public domain photos and others, like this floral collection, I’ll create in Photoshop. (I’ve fallen in love with Photoshop Brushes!)
